Regional Network Coordinators

Damilola Olisa (South East) –

Damilola is a Commonwealth Scholar from Nigeria, currently completing an MSc in Communication for Development at the University of Reading. His research interests include Communication Support for Development, Media and Communication Effects, and Political Communication. He previously completed a BSc in Mass Communication from Adekunle Ajasin University, Nigeria.

Damilola has worked in various fields including public relations, communications and marketing, business development, academia, and research analysis. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling, listening to music and volunteering.

Jagodish Chandra Sarker (London) –

Jagodish is a Commonwealth Scholar from Bangladesh completing a PhD in Chemistry at King’s College London (KCL). He completed a BSc and MSc in Chemistry at Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh.

Before starting his studies at KCL, he worked as an Assistant Professor in Chemistry at Jagannath University, Bangladesh, researching in the area of organometallic, cluster chemistry and catalysis.

Jagodish likes listening to a wide range of music, travelling and meeting new people and he has a keen interest in getting to know various cultures and lifestyles.

Stephen Manchishi (Cambridge) –

Stephen is a Commonwealth Scholar from Zambia currently completing a PhD in Reproductive Neuroendocrinology at the University of Cambridge. He previously completed his BSc in Biological Sciences at the University of Zambia and then completed an MSc in Animal Physiology, with specialization in neuron physiology at North-East Normal University in China, before returning to lecture at the University of Zambia.

Stephen is passionate about science communication through outreach, support and mentoring systems to promote science education, innovation and invention especially in rural communities. He is the current Next Einstein Forum (NEF)’s ambassador to Zambia.
